Year 12 student, Jessie has made an extraordinary mark on Barker College’s creative landscape with the self-publication of her debut poetry collection, Daughters of the Delta.

Barker College recently hosted over 200 delegates from more than 15 countries for the Global Student Conference.

In line with the 2025 NAIDOC theme—The Next Generation: Strength, Vision, and Legacy—this heartfelt conversation explores reconciliation, intergenerational knowledge, and the strength found in cultural pride.

The Barker Redbacks made history once again by winning the Australia’s FRC National Competition – Duel Down Under - for the ninth time.
