King Constantine Medal Winner

The School extends its congratulations to Class of 2025 student, Harry Field,  on being awarded the King Constantine Medal. This prestigious honour is presented by Round Square to a student from a Round Square Global Member School who exemplifies the Round Square philosophy and its IDEALS: Internationalism, Democracy, Environment, Leadership, and Service.

The medal is named after King Constantine II, the last King of Greece, who reigned from 1964 until the monarchy was abolished in 1973. King Constantine chaired the first meeting of the initial seven schools that would become the Round Square movement, named after the Round Square building at Gordonstoun, where the inaugural conference was held in 1967. For more than fifty years, His Majesty remained closely involved with Round Square as both Chair and later President.

Harry is Barker’s second recipient of this global award. He served on the Round Square Committee throughout Years 11 and 12 and contributed with distinction as Chair in his final year. Beyond his Round Square involvement, Harry has demonstrated exceptional commitment to a holistic Barker education and has served our community with integrity and dedication as a Prefect.
