We are proud to announce that Barker College is the first school in Australia to achieve Sustainable Energy Commitment (SEC) Certification – a global accreditation aligned with the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (ASRS) and the UN 24/7 Carbon-Free Energy Compact.
This voluntary commitment by Barker College means we are embedding emissions-conscious decisions, while striving towards a future powered by 24/7 carbon-free energy.
The journey continues, but we are seeing real progress:
- Cutting emissions
- Improving energy performance
- Taking bold steps in climate action
Together, we’re setting ourselves a new benchmark for school sustainability.
