Red Thread Music Concert

The Music Department is excited to present our first Red Thread Christmas Concert on Saturday, 23 November. This wonderful outdoor community event will celebrate Christmas and Barker Music, providing a fantastic finale performance opportunity for our instrumental ensembles from junior school to secondary school.

Date: Saturday, 23 November 2024
Time: 5.00pm Junor School and 7.00pm Senior School.
Venue: OBA Soundstage
Featuring: Co-curricular Instrumental Ensembles

The concert will be performed in two halves: Junior School and Secondary School.

Junior School: 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM
Junior School Ensembles: Training Band, Viotti Strings, Tartini Strings, JS Concert Band / JS Wind Orchestra, JS Chamber Orchestra, Paganini Strings, JS Wind Ensemble.

Secondary School: 7:00 PM – 8:45 PM
Secondary School Ensembles: Jazz Orchestra with Senior Choir, Kurrajong & McCaskill Winds, MISO, Zukerman Strings, MS and SS Wind Orchestras, Tour Chamber Orchestra, Wind Symphony.

Bring along a picnic dinner. The Friends of Barker Music (FOBM) will be selling cold drinks, ice creams, and confectionery on the night.

In the case of inclement weather, parents will be notified of a change to an indoor venue.
