We are still rejoicing with gratitude for the graciousness of our community in the recent Giving Day.
In a remarkable 12 hour period and with thanks to the generosity of our matching donors, just over $800,000 was raised - double our initial target.
This will allow Barker to provide scholarships for our Indigenous students and refugee students, ensuring they have the opportunity to receive a quality education and a chance to thrive at Barker. These scholarships are more than just financial aid; they are the key to a brighter future.
In addition to scholarships for disadvantaged students, the money raised on Giving Day will also support Barker families who find themselves in need due to unforeseen circumstances.
